Exhibition models the company as a participant. Registration handles people — one person, one ticket. A trade show adds a second participant type: a company that confirms attendance, brings a staff roster, occupies booths, and orders services. The module is optional and off by default. Enabling it is a per-event decision.

Enable it

Choose Exhibition in the event navigation. While the module is off, that entry opens an enable page. Choose Enable Exhibition. Four pages join the event navigation. Nothing else about the event changes.

Parts

Exhibitors

One company in this event: contacts, staff roster, badge code, and confirmation lifecycle.

Booth types

The catalog, defined once: “3×3 standard”, “6×6 island” — name, description, and specification.

Booths

Inventory and allocation: a hall, a number, and an occupant. Two booths of the same type are not interchangeable.

Services & materials

What exhibitors order for booths — power, furniture, scanners — and the orders recorded against each item.

Setup order

1

Enable the module

From Exhibition in the event navigation.
2

Define booth types

Create the catalog first. A booth type describes the booth; units under it are inventory.
3

Name halls as venues

A booth’s hall is a venue from Program & venue. Booths and the agenda use the same places. “Hall A” exists once.
4

Add booths

Create each booth with hall, number, and type.
5

Create service items

Publish the services & materials that can be ordered.
6

Add exhibitors and allocate

Add each exhibitor, link a badge code for staff, assign booths, and record service orders.

How it connects

  • Exhibitor staff are ordinary attendees. A staff member registers like any guest — typically with the exhibitor’s badge code — and is then attached to the company. There is no second identity.
  • Badge quotas are redemption codes. Staff allotment is a code from Offers & redemptions linked to the exhibitor. The use limit is the quota. See Exhibitors.
  • Halls are venues, shared with Program & venue.
  • Automations can run on exhibition events — exhibitor confirmed, booth assigned — with the company’s contact email as the recipient. See Automations.

Rules

  • The organizer records everything in the console. Companies do not sign in; your team records confirmations, allocations, and orders. The one exhibitor-side surface is the lead desk, which their staff open from their own entry pass. Leads captured there belong to the company and never appear in the console.
  • Items are free today. Booth types and service items have no prices. Publishing is a catalog decision. Pricing will use the same definitions.
  • Records are archived or cancelled, not deleted. History and references stay intact.
