A booth is one unit of floor space — Hall A, booth A-12. Unlike ticket capacity, which is a count, every booth has an identity. Two booths of the same type are not interchangeable. Open Exhibition → Booths.
Booths and booth types are separate pages. The type is the catalog entry (“3×3 standard”). The booth is the unit an exhibitor occupies. Create at least one booth type before adding booths.

Add a booth

Choose Add booth. A booth is created with a number (for example, “A-12”) and a booth type. Other fields are set on its page:
  • Venue — the hall. Halls are venues from Program & venue, so booths and the agenda use the same places. Optional, recommended.
  • Notes — free text for the team.

Allocate a booth

Allocation is on the booth page, in Allocation: pick the exhibitor and save.
  • Only Pending or Confirmed exhibitors can take a new booth.
  • Assigning runs the “Booth assigned to an exhibitor” automation trigger, if one is set. See Automations.
  • To free the booth, clear the allocation here, or use Release on the exhibitor page.
Cancelling an exhibitor does not release its booths. The allocation stays until it is released explicitly.

Lifecycle

Booths are archived, never deleted, and can be restored to Active. The activity log records every operation, including allocation history.

Rules

  • One booth, one exhibitor at a time. An exhibitor can hold many booths.
  • The hall is a venue. An archived venue takes no new booths. Existing booths keep their venue.
  • Allocation is manual. There is no self-service booth sale.
  • Booth numbers are set by the organizer. The console does not impose a numbering scheme.
Define booth types first, then create the units. The types page lists every booth of a given type.
